Aventurine

This stone is considered the luckiest and is called the “Stone of Opportunity.” It opens doors, connects to opportunity, and manifests chances for success. It increases favor in the arena it’s applied to, be it a promotion, a game, or a matter of the heart. It is said to align you with self and universe to bring opportunities, releasing old patterns and disappointments to make way for new growth. It brings optimism and the confidence to embrace change. It is a heart chakra stone and good for strengthening relationships and soothing stresses.

Rose Quartz

Rose quartz is the stone of unconditional love; it purifies and opens our hearts to deep emotional healing, tenderness and compassion, and inner peace. It’s the stone of love and lovers, connecting us to one another as both friends and beloveds, creating or restoring harmony and trust. It also is the stone of self-love, reminding us to extend that universal love and understanding and acceptance to ourselves as well.

Garnet

Garnet has been known for thousands of years. In Greek mythology, it is named for pomegranate seeds, and so it’s not only associated with the story of Persephone and Hades, but was also sacred to Hera, goddess of marriage! Garnet has a legacy with relationships and sexuality as a result. It’s considered an intense stone of willpower and vitality—but not only that confidence and charisma, but the ability to share of oneself and be generous as a result.

Malachite

Malachite is a stone of transformation: it helps reveal knowledge and awareness to us so that we can be brave enough to transform. It grows in organic botryoidal (grapelike) form and its sliced interior reminds me of the rings of a tree that mark changes. It is also used as a protection stone, especially for travelers! ⁣⁣

Peridot

It’s called “the extreme gem” the Gemological Institute of America. Peridot is born of fire and brought to light, one of only two gems (diamond is the other) formed not in the Earth’s crust, but in molten rock of the upper mantle and brought to the surface by the tremendous forces of earthquakes and volcanoes! Peridot is a great healer: it aids in resolving matters of the heart, helps boost confidence, releases negativity and unhelpful patterns, and empowers growth. Linked with solar energies, it’s a stone of abundance, forgiveness, wealth, and happiness. 

Onyx

True onyx is a black chalcedony, though onyx as a word is sometimes also applied to black agate. Onyx is a stone known for its ability to transform negativity, whether that’s to destress, support grief, or turn bad habits into new routines. It fosters fortitude and discipline. ⁣⁣

Citrine

The merchant’s stone! A popular stone well known for prosperity and positivity. In its natural state, it grows as quartz with some small iron inclusions that give it its golden hues! Some associations are wealth, confidence, success, and joy. ⁣⁣

Amethyst

This popular stone was once so rare it was called a Cardinal Gem, along with sapphire, ruby, diamond, and emerald. It has been prized since antiquity. Some associations are sobriety, intuition, insight, purification, emotional balance, meditation, mental healing, clarity, and fortitude.
