What are Storyteller Crystals made of?
Eco-resin, plus whatever inclusions! Whenever a Storyteller Crystal™ is worn, inevitably people ask: “How did you get that inside the crystal?” When they do, you get to tell your story.

Resin in crystal form has the ability to both lock and amplify an energy signature. I work with you to intentionally craft a Storyteller Crystal™ piece that resonates with your chosen signature. The things we include in the crystal are related to and become contextual memory clues, enabling you to better recall your chosen story for years to come.

What are “inclusions”?
Inclusions are whatever I preserve within the resin.

I can include almost any solid, as long as it fits. I can include things I already have, such as flowers, crystals, herbs, and ethically sourced animal offerings. I can source special items for you as well! I can also color the resin with mica shimmers and add silver, gold, or copper leaf.

I can also do personal inclusions, which require you to mail me those inclusions. I am not responsible for items shipped to me that are lost in the mail. Please DO NOT send me priceless inclusions. Once they’re set in resin, there is no un-setting or re-setting them. Personal inclusions can be hair, fur, whiskers, teeth, ashes, dried bouquets, wedding lace, etc.

If you don’t have personal inclusions but want to remember someone, think about what reminds you of the pet or person—what were their favourite things? I can include ribbon, for example, or catnip; I can make crystals look like orange soda or include favorite foods like strawberries.

How do I place an order?
The best way to begin is to send me a Message through Instagram or contact me because I like to have conversations with each and every one of you! The customization process is meant to be enlightening and comforting. It’s important to me to be able to connect with you. I accept payment through PayPal and Zelle.

What is your processing time?
The time I need to prepare an order for shipping varies. This will be communicated to you at the time we begin sorting out your custom order. If you’re tight on time, I invite you to check my Instagram and select the Available circle to see what items are ready-to-ship!

Are the prices listed here flat rate?
Yes, the prices on the Storytellers page reflects the cost of custom work for that piece and includes domestic USA shipping in the price. There are only a few reasons for additional costs: 1) if I need to special order an item for your piece, you will need to cover the at-cost price of that special order without markup; 2) if you are an international buyer, international shipping is additional on top of listed price; 3) if you use PayPal to pay there may be associated fees.

How fast do you ship?
Once the item is completed, within the week! I ship USPS First Class and will provide you with photograph proof of the mailing receipt along with the tracking number. If you need a shipping upgrade for expediency, please let me know as soon as possible. If you are an international buyer, please DM for a shipping quote. International shipping begins at $12 USD for USPS. You can track via Customs number. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I’m not responsible for delays due to customs.

What is your Return and Refund policy?
Due to the customized nature of each and every one of my pieces, unfortunately I can’t accept returns and won’t issue refunds. That being said, I will absolutely work my hardest to find a solution that works for the both of us and you will be involved in the creation process prior to resin casting so you will be fully aware of what you will receive. In the unlikely situation you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact me; I will kindly work together with you to rectify any problem. Communication is the only means to ensure buyer and seller satisfaction. I ship each parcel with tracking, so I don’t offer refunds for lost or refused mail.

How do I care for my Storyteller?
Resin is less fragile than crystal and harder to break, so these resin crystals are durable for daily wear. However, to preserve their beauty, pieces should be worn with care and not during aggressive activities or prolonged exposure to water – showering, swimming, etc. Avoid strikes or blows to the resin. Please do not use heavy commercial abrasives, tarnish removers or ultrasonic cleaners. Do not expose to extreme heat or flame.

What does your work being “eco-conscious” mean?
I do my best to work with majority ethical and eco-friendly options. All of my natural inclusions are ethical and cruelty-free. My butterflies lived full lives and show the wear of a lived life; they come from the Ethical Butterfly Company. The default resin I use is EcoPoxy, which is the UV-friendly natural resin choice—it won’t yellow or fade over time. I use natural mica pigments and dried flowers. The only “unnatural” inclusions are items such as cards, flake, etc.

Is it true every purchase gives back?
Yes! 10% of all sales profits go to FeLV research at Cornell University’s Feline Health Center. Together, we can help find a cure! Feline leukemia virus (FeLV) is one of the most common infectious diseases in cats, affecting between 2-3% of all cats in the USA. It cuts life expectancy in half for diagnosed cats. Both of my cats, King and Dany, were diagnosed with FeLV when they were 3. I lost King in September 2018 and Dany in March 2019. The initial loss inspired me to heal through creation, so I opened shop in 2018 to connect to my memories and to others.

How do you know inclusions’ associations?
Mostly, I research online. I’m better with crystals than herbs and have a few books on crystals, plus I only share the ones I have on hand for use. As for the runes, I’ve been studying the Elder Futhark for over 20 years now and I’m a runemaster who teaches others. Where is your studio?
All creations are made in what I call sacred space within in my home in New York City, which does have a cat residing within it for those concerned with allergens.
