It is speech and song, thought and memory, reason and inspiration. All of these traits are associated with the god Odinn and this correlation is canonical with the Icelandic rune poem! Ansuz is also associated in passing with his ravens, Huginn and Muninn. Some say Ansuz looks like half a feather!
